IN A SNAPSHOT:

1. Start by visiting a farm supply store or look online to find relatively inexpensive galvanized horse water tanks.
   This example uses both 3’ and 6’ sizes.
2. Once you’ve purchased the tanks, try your local hardware store for dollies to mount the tanks onto to make them portable or build your own. While at the hardware store, have them cut the wood for the false bottom in the tanks.
3. Visit your local garden center to pick up the soil, plant food, and plants you’ll be using in this year’s portable garden. See below for planting ideas.
4. Assemble and enjoy!
